Don’t Panic our CBD Oil is Organic

Hemp has been grown in Europe for hundreds of years from the Slopes of the Slovenian Alps to the flatlands of France, We tap into the Hemp culture of not needing fertilizing chemicals or pesticides. The Hemp plant simply does not need either of these Petro Chemical Derivatives in order to thrive, Growing naturally balanced and healthy plants in the field ready for harvest time. Organic because it needs nothing but soil air and water to produce so many beneficial by-products.

There are many ways to extract & make  CBD OIL and there are many ways to extract & make High-Quality CBD Oils, I find they all have their merits and will be beneficial for the end-user in one way or another but what’s the difference and does the Extraction method alter the Organic qualities of your CBD Oil?

I am going to talk about 2 extraction methods and how they affect the end result of CBD products.

1/ Cold Pressed CBD OILS are the most basic and purest form of extracts, to put it simply the whole plant is used, the flower, leaves, seeds and stalks are run through a machine that squeezes the juice out of the raw materials to create a whole plant extract. There is no heat applied to the process so the original plant profile should end up in the bottle, Terpenes, Flavonoids, Cannabinoids, Waxes, Cloraphill and plant matter to name but a few of its properties.

Using the cold-pressed method means you get out what you put in if your Hemp Flowers are 3 % going into the machine, that’s what you’re going to get out the other side, a 3 % CBD-A oil and these products generally have a short shelf life,  CBD-A? yes, not to get too technical but to create CBD you have to reach a temperature that Activates the Molecule and turns it from CBDa to CBD.

CBDA has many benefits but also some drawbacks but is the most natural form of Extract.

2/ Supercritical refers to the point at which CO2 has the properties of both a gas and a liquid.

Using specialized equipment for Hemp Extraction, the CO2 is cooled to below -69°F and put under 75psi of pressure, creating a supercritical state.

At this point, the chamber containing the Hemp plant material is filled with this CO2 where trichomes and terpenes dissolve into the carbon dioxide. The CO2 then passes through a separator, and CBD crude oil is left behind. Further processing or Winterization cleans up the Crude taking out Waxes and lipids leaving a clean and tasty Full Spectrum Cannabinoid rich CBD Oil.

The main advantages of supercritical CO2 extraction are that it can be fine-tuned to extract specific compounds by adjusting the heat and pressure. This allows for more control over the purity of cannabinoids and flavour compounds present in the CBD oil extracted using this method.

CBDLand promotes the investigation and use of all types of CBD that is made with integrity and honesty no matter how its extracted.
